The Yamaha MODX8+ brings advanced synthesis and expressive keyboard performance into a compact, lightweight 88-key instrument. Its GHS keyboard provides a weighted playing experience suitable for pianists and keyboardists, while Yamahas Motion Control Synthesis Engine combines AWM2 and FM-X technologies for a broad range of acoustic, electronic and modern synthesizer sounds.
The MODX8+ provides 128-note AWM2 polyphony and 128-note FM-X polyphony, allowing complex sounds, layers and performances without compromising responsiveness. It also supports up to 16 internal Parts, making it suitable for sophisticated live setups and music production.
For hands-on control, the keyboard features a 7-inch colour touchscreen, Super Knob, assignable knobs, control sliders, pitch bend and modulation wheels. Its integrated effects, arpeggiator, Motion Sequencer and performance controls give musicians extensive real-time sound-shaping capabilities.
The MODX8+ is also designed for studio integration, with USB audio and MIDI connectivity, MIDI IN/OUT, analogue audio inputs and outputs, headphone connectivity and foot-controller connections.
